The breakfast room provided an excellent view while I enjoyed my coffee and croissants. Don't forget to grab bus tickets from the nearby supermarket. They're cheaper than on the bus.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was comfortable and clean, plus in an excellent location overlooking the lake. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel and the ferry stop is close by which made other locations easily accessible.

Noise from the street can be quite bothersome during the day!!! A little more attention to outdated room decor would go a long way in improving the overall experience!!! Poor sound insulation also disrupts privacy!!!

The views of Lake Como were amazing, especially from our double balcony. The breakfast spread was solid-croissants and coffee with a killer lake view. Only downside was a bit of noise from the street during the day. Still, I'd book again!

Hotel Riviera had an excellent location, across the street from Lake Como. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our room and the surrounding area was not congested with traffic or tourists. We were able to catch the ferry less than a block away. It is a family run business and everybody was extremely helpful. The hotel was extremely clean, conformtable and nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet was the best we experienced during our 3 week trip in Italy.

The staff were ver lovely and helpful. The hotel its self is in a great spot and great value for money.

A warm family vibe by the lake

The wonderful staff treated us like family, always so polite and eager to help. We loved the amazing view of the lake, especially from our balcony. Breakfast was an array of good choices, and we cherished the local charm around us.

While we enjoyed many aspects, the noise from the main road was quite noticeable, especially in the mornings. If you're looking for absolute quiet, this location might not be the best.

This was run by a family and they were great hosts. The hotel is a little older but it was clean and it is right on lake Como. We had a view of the lake (in fact I think all the rooms do). It was great. They have a restaurant next to the hotel and it was great. It's right opposite a bus stop and the ferry is a short walk (2 mins down the road). Great location and the ferry ride to Bellagio is short. Definitely good value for money.

The view from our balcony was wicked awesome! I mean, waking up to Lake Como every morning? Can't beat that. And the little supermarket just steps away? Super handy for stocking up. Loved it!

A peaceful area, great and gorgeous location so close to the ferry to the other towns, Cadenabbia, Bellagio and Varenna, and shops, restaurants and souvenir shops. For shots visit Bar Vecchia Torre, nestled within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel.
